A concurrent series of breakout sessions will be designed and offered for specific audiences.
Attendees will be assigned to, and receive invitations for, specific sessions.
5:30 PM – Welcome Gathering
We will gather at the convening hotel for light refreshments and networking.

Friday
9:00 – 9:30 AM – Opening Remarks from Bryan Stevenson
9:30 – 10:30 AM- Plenary Session: The Importance of Narrative
The role and importance of narrative in youth sentencing reform, featuring panelists from diverse fields who center storytelling in their respective work.
10:30 AM – 12:00 PM- Plenary Session: Directly Impacted Leaders Advancing Reform
People directly impacted by extreme youth prison sentences, including survivors and family members, will share how they are influencing policy and advancing reform efforts.
12:00 – 2:00 PM- Lunch/Breakout Workshops*
A concurrent series of breakout sessions will be designed and offered for specific audiences.
Attendees are welcome to choose which session to attend.
3:00 – 5:30 PM- Visit to the Legacy Museum or the Memorial for Peace and Justice
Space for quiet, personal reflection will be available for those returning from the museum and memorial.
6:30 PM- Reception at The Warehouse at Alley Station
Join us for refreshments and an award ceremony at the historic venue just blocks from the convening hotel.

9:15 – 11:15 AM- Visit to the Legacy Museum or the Memorial for Peace and Justice

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM- Plenary Session: Spotlight on the South
An exploration and discussion of the challenges and unique opportunities in youth sentencing legislative advocacy and reform in the South.
1:00 – 2:00 PM- Closing Session
